NUTTY HOT CHOCOLATE – GLUTEN, DAIRY, SUGAR FREE – kids LOVE this!
For two mugs you will need – into a blender;
1 ½ mugs rice or nut milk
Dash of coconut cream or 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, not both)
1 tsp maple syrup
1 heaped tsp great quality cacao powder (or cocoa)
1 heaped tsp almond butter
Few drops of pure vanilla extract
Blend together well.
Tip into small saucepan and bring to simmer. Immediately remove from heat as it looks like its simmering up the sides – (don’t walk away from the pot!)
Pour into mugs and top with powdered cinnamon, allow to cool, its very hot under the creamy foam!!
